Scott J. Tate
Owner / Principal
Scott Tate is a 1992 graduate of Ohio University where he obtained his BBA in Finance while lettering in varsity football for four years. He continued his education at Xavier University where he obtained a Masters Degree in Marketing and International Business. His insurance background includes ten years with Cincinnati Insurance Company as a Personal Lines Underwriter, a Commercial Lines Underwriter, Field Representative in Kalamazoo, MI, and a Regional Director of Sales and Marketing in Tennessee. After building his client base and reputation as one of the top agents in the area, he along with his partners opened Tate Insurance Group. His book of business includes manufacturing, construction, mercantile, property management, distribution, service and personal insurance business. Scott is actively involved in the community as a youth sports coach and the head freshman basketball coach at Farragut High School. His business affiliations include the Knoxville Business Association and Business Network International.

John Moore
Owner / Agent
John Moore is a Knoxville native and a University of Tennessee graduate. His background includes a specialization in property management and mercantile risks. While being a successful developer and property owner, John has gained the knowledge and expertise on the insurance side necessary to analyze and insure a wide variety of risks. Having a hands on approach to property management has given him a unique perspective when it comes to insuring risks and helping our customers not only on the insurability side but the cost allocation and loss control part of their business.

Bruce Morgan brings over 30 years of experience to Tate Health Insurance Group in the health insurance and benefit area. Bruce has experience working for Blue Cross and Blue Shield as well as Cariten Health in Knoxville, TN. While successfully moving from the company side to the agency side he quickly became one of the leading writers of health insurance and benefits in East Tennessee. Bruce is a partner in Tate Health Insurance Group and overseas the benefits plans for our customers as well as our expanding group products we offer.

Andrea Russell is a Lenoir City High School and East Tennessee State University graduate. Andrea has over 10 years experience handling commercial accounts being a customer service representative. She is in charge of the commercial division of Tate Insurance Group and her knowledge of companies, software and the insurance business has benefitted the agencies growth and retention to unmatched levels in the area.
